Do I need a fishing license to fish on the beach?
If you are a Florida resident, you do not have to have  alicense. Out of State visitors must have a fishing license. ****Everyone must have a fishing license when fishing from a boat.****
 
 
Where is the nearest bait shop?
 The Marina has the nearest bait shop located on Date Palm Road to the right just before crossing the 20th Street or Barbour Bridge on Beachland Blvd.
 
 Where can I find a table on the high and low tides in the area?
Tide tables can be found at the Bait shop, in the Press Journal and at the  website: www.noaa.gov
  
When is the Hurricane Season?
Huricane season begins May 1st and runs until December 1st. The most dangerous months are August and September.

When is Turtle Season?
Turtles are protected by the federal government. Turtle season begins March 1st through October 1st. Be sure to read the insert in your Weekly Activities pamphlet. The molestation or disturbance of a sea turtle, its nest or eggs is a federal offense, punishable by up to 1 year in jail or a $100,000 fine.

No! We regret that we cannot and do not allow boats or trailers in the parking area because of our limited space. Please contact
