Our Home Page Visitor's Center is designed to help make your stay at The Reef Ocean Resort everything you want it to be. Here, we are encouraging you to do three things during your stay:

1. Enjoy The Reef Ocean Resort and take advantage of the many things The Reef has to offer right here on our grounds. People come to the Reef to enjoy the sun, sand, and sea. We have it all and more!

2. Explore The Area and some of the fun and interesting things to do here in Vero Beach and Indian River County. Vero Beach is rich in "sunken treasure history" and has a wealth of exciting and fun ways to spend your vacation time. We provide suggestions and pictures along with ways for you to discover Vero's treasurers.

3. Take a Day Trip and Explore Brevard County where there are many adventures totally unique to the Central Florida Treasure Coast. Here we provide our website visitors with 4 different day trips of great ways to fill a day guaranteed to please. Pictures are included

All of these attractions and activities provide fun, exciting, and educational things to do to fill your days whenever you need a break from the sun, sand, sea and surf. We hope you find our " Making Memories " suggestions helpful!

Our About The Resort section provides you general information and pictures of our newly renovated buildings, facilities, and grounds. Many of our guests have been coming here for years and we invite you to hear What Our Guests Say from our weekly comment sheets and emails.

Then we encourage you to Make a Reservation by providing pictures of our new One-Bedroom and Efficiency oceanfront and poolside apartments. Seasonal rates are shown to help you inform any of your friends or guests who want to stay with us. And of course there is an 800-number to call for reservations and availability.

Before you call to make a reservation, click on our Planning Calendar link and check the week number and the "from-to" date. This Planning Calendar will help you schedule and reserve your week along with the appropriate days, as "week dates" change from year to year. Nothing is worse than making travel plans and then arriving a week early or a week later than your scheduled week! A three year calendar is provided.

A Reef Site Map is also included to help you select or locate your unit. Just click on the Site Map Link and see an enlarged version of the site plan with readable unit numbers and designations for Apartment, Efficiency, or Studio. The Site Plan will also help you differentiate oceanfront from ocean view units.

Once you have made your reservations, our Directions and Maps section will show you distances and driving times from major airports serving the Vero Beach area. Also included here are Links to various mapping websites like Google, Yahoo, and Mapquest where you can plug in the "From - To" information and find detailed driving directions from anywhere in the US.

There is also information on how to obtain a free download of Google Earth, one of the most exciting websites ever.

After you arrive, you will want to Discover Vero Beach and everything the area has to offer. Here we have some basic information about Vero along with Links to local attractions. These Links can help you plan to make the most of your vacation and save you time in the process. There are even Links to provide daily and extended weather forecasts!
